Just as electric vehicles go mainstream, the man known as the father of China’s electric car movement, Wan Gang, says that hydrogen-fueled car vehicles are the future of mobility.
“We need to move further toward fuel cells. The key is to sort out the factors that have been hindering the development of fuel cell vehicles,” Gang, a former Audi executive and currently China’s science and technology minister, told Bloomberg on Wednesday. “The electric and fuel cell cars are both important. People like electric cars in cities, and hydrogen fuel cars intercities.”
